For the past few months, I’ve been writing and sharing my tips on crafting a swoon-worthy customer experience and connecting your business with systems that speak to your soul. And I’ve heard from you over and over that the number one thing you’re struggling with is indecision. Indecision over what direction to take, what tools to use, when and how to connect with others, and, most importantly, indecision over how to spend your precious time.
Maybe you’re one of the brave side-hustlers, building a dream when you aren’t in the office or with your family. Or you’ve made the leap to build your freelance business and client work (which pays the bills, btw) is top priority. Perhaps you’re building a team, collaborating and growing, and starting to get swept up in how to manage it all.
No matter where you fall in the land of creative entrepreneurship, you are not alone.
Indecision is the plague of small business and it has the power to land you with your face in a bowl of cheesy quinoa while you head down an Orphan Black binge on Amazon Prime on a usually productive Thursday. #itshappened
Earlier this week, I wrote about Just In Time Learning. This kind of learning, the programs, products, and groups we join Just In Time (right before we really need them) is the first line of defense when indecision creeps in. See, Just In Time Learning implies focus: you have a plan for your business growth over the next 90 days and the decision of how to spend your time is made. You can commit to this kind of learning because you know that the results will speak for themselves and the time (no matter how much you spend on it) will not be wasted.
Unlike that Netflix binge that you keep convincing yourself is “research”.
And that Just In Time Learning is why I built Soul Filled Systems (formerly Systems Finishing School).
I’ve spent the last decade on the inside of some incredibly successful businesses. From massive retail chains to design agencies to world-famous opera companies to small 1, 2, and 3 person teams of entrepreneurs. In that time I’ve noted two things they all have in common when they plateau:
- a feeling of loneliness when they are moving into the next stage of growth
- an overwhelming lack of direction
Soul Filled Systems is about more than what scheduling tool to use or which project management program will grow with you and your business. Let’s face it, you can Google that.
This 3 month cohort gives you the tools and confidence you need to make strategic decisions in your business to propel your growth. It’s designed to teach you to lead a team (even if that is a team of 1 right now) and it provides you with a community of people just like you who are serious about getting out of indecision and into massive action.
Let’s get to what matters most to nearly every business owner I know: The Cost.
I know deep in my soul that this is not Just In Case Learning. Connecting your business operations with your soul filled decision making is nearly always Just In Time. It’s the difference between switching up the way you work every quarter and humming along nicely with indecision packed neatly away in the back of the closet. And the power you get from linking your soul to your biz is just priceless.
So I could tell you that it’s “worth thousands” or that “I’d love to give it all away for free” but those phrases bore me. Don’t they bore you?
When I last ran this program (then titled Systems Finishing School), it was shorter, I had applications, and I kept the group super small. This time around I’m opening it up to anyone who wants to make this move to build, grow, and streamline in a soul-filled way. If that resonates with you, I’d love to see you there.
Here’s to sending your own indecision packing.
