To say that I have nothing left to give is a bit of an overreaction. I mean, I have continued to provide luxury service to my little cluster of favorite business owners, gone to yoga, worked out a new project management system for a team that is near and dear, and recently created the DIY LinkedIn Series that launched just last week. So, I’ve given, yes, but the silo is LOW, people. LOW.
AND! (because it’s soooo much better to say AND instead of BUT…. try it.) my beautiful and kick-ass business friends have put out such amazingness on the interwebs these days, I’ve just gotta share this stuff with you, k?
1. Ash Ambirge has partnered up with her keepin’-it-real lawyer bud, Rachel Rodgers, and built the in-effing-credible Small Business Bodyguard . Look, I can tell you first hand (unfortunately) how incredibly important legal advice is no matter how big you are. If someone hands you $50 cash for a baby sweater you knit for them, you are a business. And you better start acting like one before it’s $50k in income and about 50k in problemos. Comprende? So go here and get the bodyguard for your biz. (Bonus: I now get to tell people I have a bodyguard which makes me feel like there should be paparazzi around which makes me act like a gajillion bucks… which always feels good.)
2. I know I am not the first person to tell you this week about the GMail changes and yada yada yada. Yes, GMail (a free service, BTWs) updated it’s layout to the seeming chagrin of many. If this very email didn’t land in your inbox right away and you had to seek it out (um, thanks!) you know all about this. If not, you can read about it here . You can also read a little more chillaxed version of the happenings here by the brilliant Brigitte Lyons. Because, seriously, chill.
3. You may use Hootsuite, Buffer, or TweetDeck(wait, does anyone still use TweetDeck?), but do you know about postbeyond? You guys, if you have a team or work on a team or know a whole bunch of people who can help spread your message in exactly the way you want them to…. postbeyond is for you. You create the content, tell them where they can post it and until when, and then share with your group so they share with theirs. Okay, they do a better job of explaining it so check it out.
Aaaaand, that’s it! I do seem to love things in threes, don’t I? If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out my latest freebie (which comes in 3 lessons) and can earn you dollars (hopefully more than $3).
Oh, since my bodyguard would want me to tell you this, here ya go:
**side note: I am in no way affiliated with the above programs or services and do not see a single dime if you choose to buy them, etc. So don’t come holding me accountable if it’s not workin’ for ya, k?
