“Now Hiring, Apply Within”
Well, that seems like a lot of hassle. Go inside, talk to someone, get asked a bunch of questions I don’t know the answer to, be judged up and down, and then leave not knowing what is next? No thanks. I’ll just order my latte and go on monster or indeed or linkedin and shoot my resume out to the masses in bulk. Yes, much safer that way.
Woah – reality check time. Perhaps that’s exactly the point. Time to get uncomfortable. Apply yourself. Within. In order to get to the next place (the next job, the next relationship, the next possibility), you have to take some time to apply within.
Go inside your own headspace, ask yourself a whole bunch of questions you may not have the answer to, study who you are, who you are working on becoming, judge (and love) yourself, and allow yourself the space to not know what’s next. When you take the time to apply yourself within, you see what others see and you get the power to choose who you want to be (or become) in each moment.
Because wherever you apply your thoughts and your beautiful energy, there shall be your future. So, where are you applying?
