As easy as ABC.
Taking the easy
way out.
How about the cousins of
“easy”:
In the clear.
Like shooting fish in
a barrel.
Out of the woods.
A no
brainer.
Val, are you taking the easy way out
and hoping that no one notices? News flash, they notice. And you do too. In case
you can’t recognize it yourself, here are some examples of the easy way
out:
“I don’t want to do that yoga pose. After
all, yoga is about listening to my body and being non-harming. Yeah, I’ll just
skip this pose.”
“Can you send me an email
about your proposal? I’d rather have it all in writing than sit here and talk it
out.”
“Your company isn’t really my target
client, but I’ll take your money since I don’t have anything else lined up for
that date.”
Triple yuck. See, the easy way out
doesn’t give people {yourself included} the fullest expression of who you are.
100% of you doesn’t show up and….who ends up losing out? YOU do. Your yoga
teacher doesn’t really care if you do that pose, YOU DO. Your co-worker would
probably rather email you than talk to you if you aren’t going to be present
anyways. And that big biz for next month is only going to suck YOUR soul. Not
theirs.

Show up. Give 100%. Stay true to you. And make YOURSELF
proud.
